The Social Security Dilemma
Barack Obama has plans for Social Security. Ideas you are not going to like. Cuts and reductions workers who will not be eligible for retirement benefits will face until long after Obama will have left office (hopefully in 2012). Future recipients will get less money and be forced to works years longer than required today.
Thanks to the Democrats, Illinois in Trouble
My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government. — Thomas Jefferson Cook County’s property tax system has become so overburdened by exemptions and layers of administration in the past decade that the Chicago-based Civic Federation believes it’s not working like it should.

Our Kind of Republican
Non-partisanship begone! Compromise, moving to the center and kissing the ring of mainstream media. Baloney! Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell promises not to make it easy for Democrats. This is what America is waiting to see.
Fireworks Ahead in Illinois Legislature
Once again, the Democrats are in charge and when lawmakers return to Springfield in January, one of the final acts they address before swearing in a new General Assembly will be setting up ground rules on legislative redistricting. The Chicago Machine has to love it!
Mexico Border a Sieve, IG Report Says
Millions pass through border checkpoints without identification after pressure from Obama administration and immigration rights groups.
Jefferson
Despite incessant attacks on his character, his morals and standing as one of the greatest Americans, Thomas Jefferson was one of our greatest political leaders and presidents. He was also brilliant. If he were alive today, he would know there are only 50 states, not 57.
