Viet Nam is a nightmare that haunts the U.S. military to this day: disgrace, abandonment, retreat. Before the politicians hijacked the battleplan and ensured ultimate failure the military fought strong and proud. The men and women who returned from Viet Nam were vilified and spat upon in airports, in bus stations and on sidewalks across the nation by a citizenry that was brainwashed by the Left and mainstream media. They were called baby killers and dope addicts.
