Washington, DC, June 14, 2012: Five influential Members of Congress last week called for the inspectors general (IGs) of government departments with national security responsibilities to investigate whether their agencies are being subjected to influence operations mounted as part of what the Muslim Brotherhood calls its “civilization jihad.” This initiative holds out hope that a grave, and largely unremarked, threat may thus be recognized and thwarted in time.
The authors of letters sent to the IGs for the Departments of State, Justice, Defense and Homeland Security and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence are: Rep. Michele Bachman, a member of the House Intelligence Committee and Chairwoman of the House Tea Party Caucus Rep. Trent Franks, Chairman of the House Judiciary’s Subcommittee on the Constitution a member of the House Armed Services Committee Rep. Louie Gohmert, Vice Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security Rep. Tom Rooney, Deputy Majority Whip and member of the House Armed Services Committee Rep. Lynn Westmoreland, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee’s Oversight Subcommittee; and
In a joint press statement, each of these congressional leaders expressed profound concern about the dangers posed by the Muslim Brotherhood and the need to understand that threat here in the United States. What is more, they cited in their letters evidence of the penetration of Brotherhood operatives and allies inside the Obama administration, and examples of policies that appear to have been influenced as a result.

When Are We Going To Selling Weapons to Muslim Nations?
Situated on an outcrop of the Arabian Peninsula lies the small Muslim nation of Al Imārāt al ‘Arabīyah al Muttaḥidah or more commonly referred to as the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It borders Saudi Arabia and Oman, and lies a short distance across the Persian Gulf from Iran.
The United Arab Emirates is actually composed of seven emirates or principalities. Each of the emirates are governed by a monarch known as an emir. Collectively, they select a supreme monarch or president to oversee the UAE, but each emir retains absolute control of his emirate.
Covering a mere 32,278 square miles (South Carolina is 30,109 square miles in size), the UAE has the sixth largest oil reserve in the world. Consequently, the UAE is one of the richest counties in the world and their emirs are among the wealthiest people in the world.
Since Islam is the state religion, the UAE has a dismal record of human rights violations, especially towards females. Under Sharia law, women have few rights, even though the nation boasts that its constitution guarantees the protection of human rights.
President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continually claim to the world that they will fight against all human rights violations, however, neither of them have said or done anything about the violations occurring in the UAE. Instead, the Obama administration gives its approval to allow Lockheed Martin to sell the most effective anti-missile defense system that the U.S. has. Before Lockheed can sell to a number of nations, they need to get approvals from the Department of Defense.
Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) System is one of the backbones of America’s anti-missile defense system. This is purely a defense system as the THAAD missiles do not contain warheads, but are designed to hit incoming missiles and detonate their warheads before they reach their targets. With the approval of the government, Lockheed Martin has already sold 138 THAAD launching systems worth nearly $2 billion.
Prior to the sale of the THAAD system to the UAE, the only other country to purchase the same system is Israel, who used to be a longtime ally of the US. But it seems that under the Obama administration, it is more important to supply the enemies of our allies with the same high tech top weaponry than it is to remain loyal and supportive of our allies. The bottom line is that the UAE oil is so important to Obama that he ignores the countries human rights violations and he ignores one of our strongest allies in the Middle East. It may also have something to do with the fact that the UAE is Muslim and rules by Sharia law which Obama seems more than happy to embrace.
