Having just shed the shackles of monarchy, the Founding Fathers were loath to establish a government with an all-powerful chief executive. To prevent it, they created a government divided into three equal branches. Their idea was that each branch would check the other in order to limit government’s growth. In many instances, that isn’t the case. Under Barack Obama, the Department of Homeland Security has encouraged Americans to spy on each other. The War on Terror is over, but the war on Americans by the Department of Homeland Security is in full stride.
Shades of George Orwell and 1984! You are being watched!
Democracy must be something more than two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.
– James Bovard, Civil Libertarian (1994)
Our Freedom is under assault, both at home and abroad.
George Soros and his minions are hard at work attempting to tear down our liberties and sovereignty and President Obama – practicing the Alinsky “rules for revolution” – is attempting to outmaneuver his opponents in a hungry grab for more power. The government almost shut down, our budget is bursting at the seams and our national debt is out of control. State governors are in pitched battle, trying to save their states from radical leftist unions – passing laws that protect their sovereignty from foreign invasion from illegal immigration and fending off the leviathan power of Obamacare that has unconstitutionally been thrust at our citizens.
Information is everything in today’s world – it is power. The gathering of personal and secretive information about the population of any country by those elected to lead them has been viewed as unethical and undemocratic especially when a government decides to ignore our expectation of privacy granted under our Bill of Rights and our Constitution. Nevertheless, it has long been accepted practice. Never more so, than under Barack Obama.
Enter the Spy Bug.
Is this a mosquito? No. It’s an insect spy drone for urban areas, already in production, funded by the US Government. It can be remotely controlled and is equipped with a camera and a microphone. It can land on you, and it may have the potential to take a DNA sample or leave RFID tracking nanotechnology on your skin. It can fly through an open window, or it can attach to your clothing until you take it in your home. Given their propensity to request macro-sized drones for surveillance, one is left with little doubt that police and military may look into these gadgets next.
And for all you who automatically say “fake” because you don’t think our glorious government is funding this … do some research. We thought you would find this technology interesting but damn scary!
Listed below are the history of this intelligence gathering device and a short video. Check them out.
