Illinois is a one-party state dominated by a virulent Democrat Left enabled by a complicit media where every agency of city, county, and state government is the result of patronage or run by and for the public employee unions. It’s a state, and city (Chicago) that are slowly going broke due to machine politics.
*For you out-of-staters, substitute Chicago every time you see Illinois and you’ll understand the gist of the article.
In Illinois, we hate the evil, greedy rich in the suburbs, except the rich in sports and anyone who will fix it so Barack Obama can buy a Southside mansion for half anyone else would be forced to pay. The Democrats love people who sneak into Illinois to eat the bounty created by the productive rich. Illegals get benefits from various generous welfare programs, free medical care, free schools for their kids, including meals, and of course, instate tuition rates and scholarships too. Nothing’s too good for our “guests”.
Oh, Chicago is a Sanctuary City and Rahm ‘Dead Fish’ Emanuel recently told his best friend and president of the United States, Barack Obama, to go to hell when he refused to allow the feds to arrest anyone (he means illegals) in HIS city.
Interesting dilemma for Obama there. If immigration is exclusively a federal matter, and Obama has sued four states for trying to enforce federal immigration laws he won’t enforce, what will the President do to a state that believes Chicago can disregard federal immigration law?
Simple, Obama knows better than to argue with Rahm Emanuel – after all, Rahm, along with David Axelrod, is running Obama re-election from offices in Chicago. Don’t forget, it’s the Chicago Machine, as expierenced as it is with ballot-stuffing, voter fraud, and negating the military vote that can guarantee to carry Chicago and Cook County on November 6.
Aw, ‘Chicago, Chicago That Toddlin’ Town’
I was born and raised there watching the ward committeemen and their captains run roughshod at polling places each and every election. Welcome to Illinois, and the dog (Chicago) that wags the tail and everything else in sight.
I’m sick.
