We Need to Beat Obama and Vote in a GOP Senate in 2012
The threat isn’t hard to see — just look all around us. Our constitutional principles and freedoms are being assaulted at every turn. More bailouts, trillion dollar “stimulus” plans, huge new debt burdens for our children, simply printing money to cover our failed policies — I could go on and on. You and I both know that President Obama is going to keep going and going unless someone puts a stop to the madness.
Illinois Freshman Does Well on Sunday Morning TV
Bobby Schilling (R-IL) is one of 87 Tea Party–backed freshmen in the U.S. House of Representatives. He appeared last Sunday morning on NBC’s Meet the Press where host David Gregory did his best to lure Schilling into making a faux pas. He didn’t.
A self-proclaimed “non-politician”, first-time candidate Schilling ran and beat long-time Democrat Phil Hare for a seat in Illinois’ 17th district in the wake of Obama’s 2008 presidential win, when the economy was worsening and Congress continued to accept raises. He waged his campaign promising an end to “out-of-control spending” by both Democrats and Republicans.

Walsh’s First District Office Opens in Fox Lake, IL
Congressman Joe Walsh last week welcomed constituents and local officials to the grand opening of his first district office in Fox Lake. At the opening, Fox Lake Mayor Ed Bender presented Congressman Walsh with a key to the city, recognizing the Congressman as the first non-resident to receive such an honor. The event provided an opportunity for community members to speak with the Congressman about important issues and get an in-person update on Walsh’s first month in office.

Pat Quinn is clandestinely leading the people of Illinois to financial ruin. George Soros – most people don’t even know who he is – gave a million dollar check to NPR to hire a gaggle of reporters to advance his left-wing agenda. He gave another million to a campaign to legalize marijuana. Many believe he is the author of Obama’s foreign policy. And yet on these, and many other issues that directly affect America, the media is silent.
