As Palin puts it, “I don’t owe the media anything.” Meanwhile, Michelle Bachman, another Tea party stalwart, promises to do away with the Left’s most cherished piece of social engineering: ObamaCare. Christian Maternity Hospital in Peoria Will Offer Free Maternity Care
Expectant mothers in need of maternity care will soon have an alternative to government aid. Samaritan Ministries International, based in Peoria, Illinois, announced a new project called The Morning Center. The Morning Center will establish full-service maternity hospitals in major Illinois cities, James Lansberry, vice president of the Samaritan Ministries, announced May 23. (more…)
We said it Would Happen: Redistricting Wars Have started in Illinois
The June, 2 issue of Ice News alerted you to the Left’s plans (Illinois Democrats) to gerrymander the state’s congressional districts to guarantee they keep their iron grip on the state of Illinois. Well, they’re at it and if they succeed, Illinois conservatives could be in big trouble. Joe Walsh, a political unknown who narrowly defeated Democrat Melissa Bean in 2010, no longer resides in this district, and about two-thirds of his old district has been moved to the 6th.
