The White House has begun an aggressive campaign to use approaching Supreme Court arguments on the new health care law as a moment to build support for the measure seen as President Obama’s signature legislative achievement, hoping to shape public opinion on an issue at the center of the battle for the White House and Congress. . For the last year, Democrats in Congress and progressive groups have urged the White House to make a more forceful defense of the health care law, which is denounced almost daily by Republican lawmakers and presidential candidates. We Have 60 Times More Oil Than Obama Says
When he was running for the Oval Office four years ago amid $4-a-gallon gasoline prices, then-Sen. Barack Obama dismissed the idea of expanded oil production as a way to relieve the pain at the pump. He’s guilty of doing exactly that today and America’s motorists are suffering because of Obama’s commitment to radical environmentalists. Illegal Immigrants and Social Security
Just as in November 2010, we have an opportunity to clean-house, so to speak: change the occupant in the White House and move Harry Reid to a minority seat in the Senate. For a reason to do so, one has to look no further than at a report released two years ago by the Social Security Board of Trustees that says the Social Security system will pay out more in benefits than it gathers in tax receipts this year for the first time since 1983.
