Global Warming and Secondhand Smoke. How can anyone forget the prophet Al Gore lecturing the world saying unless we changed our lifestyle the Earth would cease to exist in ten years because of global warming? Then there’s secondhand smoke. That bit of silliness started in 1992 with a report from the EPA. Yeah the EPA, the same bunch that is still trying to run the country through fiat and regulation. Roskam Discusses Pending Tax Hikes on CNBC
Congressman Peter Roskam (IL-06) appeared on CNBC’s Squawk Box alongside Paul Farr, CFO of PPL to preview a CFO roundtable discussion hosted by Roskam on the pending hike in capital gains and dividend taxes. Roskam was joined at the roundtable by CFO’s across several industries, as well as fellow House members, to discuss the negative affect increased taxes would have on the American economy. A Romney Landslide? Why Not, a Convict Beat Him In a Democratic Primary
If the election were held today, Mitt Romney would win by a landslide. The published polls reflect a close race for two reasons: They poll only registered voters, not likely voters. Rasmussen is the only pollster who tests likely voters, and his latest tracking poll has Romney ahead by 48-43. ICE News cautions not to be lulled into complacency by these polls.
