In a country where the federal government claims monthly unemployment over 8 percent as a sign of improvement and middle class families have seen 40 percent income drops since 2007, North Dakota boasts communities where up to nine jobs go unfilled for every existing working resident and family incomes have increased 130 percent over the past decade. ACORN, the DNC’s Behind The Scenes Ally Gets $445 million Grant from Administration
ACORN, the supposedly defunct organization defunded by Congress in the aftermath of James O’Keefe’s video exposing ACORN employees’ willingness to help out pimps and prostitutes attain government benefits is back. According to recent reports, Judicial Watch has uncovered the Obama administration offered $445 million to a former ACORN official as part of a $7.6 billion government program designed to help “unemployed or substantially underemployed” Americans make their mortgage payments. Least you forget, Obama the lawyer worked for ACRON before he ran for state Senate in Illinois and with whom he still has a close relationship. (more…)
Desperate Democrats Taking Another “Stab” at Controlling News Stream
The U.S. Labor Department, with no public or advance notice, has given news organizations until June 15 to remove all their computers, software and electronic equipment from DOL offices. After that, journalists will be required to use government-issued computers, software and Internet lines to report on data such as unemployment figures issued by the agency. Reminds one of Communism in its heyday, doesn’t it. (more…)

Is Barack Obama alienating his core support? A prominent leader in the Iowa/Nebraska branch of the NAACP — the country’s oldest civil rights group — announced June 7 that he is resigning as branch president and a national board member in the wake of the national organization’s decision to endorse marriage between people of the same gender. Pelosi “Services” Gay Lobby, Ignores ‘Moral Principals’ and ‘Conscience’
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said she stands with the White House in opposing a provision in the House defense authorization bill that would stop anyone in the military from ordering a chaplain to act against his or her “conscience, moral principles, or religious beliefs” or against the religious beliefs of the denomination to which he or she belongs. Once again, we see the power of the Gay Lobby influencing – stomping on – the rights of Americans. What a Democrat won’t do to suck-up to special interest groups. (more…)
