Roberts Didn’t Do Us a Favor
The stunning and stupid decision on Obamacare handed down by the U.S. Supreme Court last Thursday was a wake-up call to the Right. We at ICE News have been concerned about the complacency of conservatives in the media and the voting public, spouting over and over how Barack Obama was a failed president, a disgrace, and the November elections would be a landslide for the GOP. That was simply wishful thinking. The Roberts-led “conservative leaning” Supreme Court showed us that we cannot depend on the judiciary to save our freedoms. We must save our country and our freedoms legislatively. What Roberts did sends the middle class into a tailspin. (more…)

America’s embrace of alcohol prohibition from 1920-1933 generally ranks among the biggest mistakes in public policy in the 20th century. It was a period that resulted in a profound loss of personal liberty that gave rise to criminal syndicates that often used violence to control the black market of liquor sales.
