Memorial Day Was a Time to Think
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

Is Obama Going to Allow Another Ally to Fall?
The Arab revolution has reached the tiny Gulf state of Bahrain, where Sunni rulers control a majority Shiite population. Since the 1990s, the United States has used Bahrain as a base for the Fifth Fleet, a military force for the Gulf region that currently consists of 6,100 marines and civilian personnel. The fleet is the core of Washington’s Iran containment policy. Will Obama allow this nation, too, to fall and forfeit our fleet’s foothold in the Arabian Gulf to Iran?
Will Obama, Holder Defend our Military Dead, Christianity?
The Ultra-Left, out-of-control and out-of-touch with America, San Francisco-based Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled a monument featuring a cross, dedicated to Korean War veterans, is unconstitutional and must be removed. When will this socialist, progressive silliness stop?

In a landmark vote for gay rights, Sen. Harry Reid and fellow Democrats in the Senate voted Saturday to let gays serve openly in the military, giving President Barack Obama the chance to fulfill a campaign promise and repeal the 17-year policy known as “don’t ask, don’t tell.” The Senate voted 63 to 33 Saturday in favor of cloture on the bill. Six Republicans voted with the Democrats: Scott Brown, Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, Lisa Murkowski, George Voinovich, and newly elected Illinois Senator Mark Kirk.
2011 Military Pay Taking a Hit in Senate
