Our Veterans Are Getting Shafted
In the last four years, we have seen unprecedented federal stimulus spending; massive bailouts to favored industries and state and local governments; and historically high deficits and debt—all of which we were told were necessary to get this nation back to work. Yet the economy under Barack Obama’s administration is just treading water, barely. Nationally, the unemployment/underemployment rates for veterans is at an all-time high. In Illinois, a state suffering under the iron-hand of a socialist Democrat Party led by House Speaker Michael Madigan and Governor Pat Quinn, the unemployment rate among veterans is above the national average. Obama’s Inauguration A National Day Of Mourning
Barack Obama’s Inauguration is happening as you read this. Despite what the Obama-adoring, Kool-Aid drinking liberal mainstream media tell you, Obama’s inauguration is not a celebration. If the media were honest, we’d declare it a “national day of mourning.” Our economy under Obama is in shambles. Things are not getting better; they are getting worse by the day. U.S. State Department Protects Mumbai Terrorists
The families of Americans killed in India by terrorists received an unwelcome Christmas gift this holiday season from their own government’s State Department. As you probably remember, on October 26, 2008, a group of armed terrorists boated to Mumbai, India. For three days various locations in Mumbai were attacked with guns and bombs. The terrorists killed at least 166 people, with many of the dead showing evidence of mutilation and torture. Six of those killed were Americans. These people have grieving family who want their day in court to get vindication against those who backed this terrorist plot. Little chance of that with Barack Obama in the White House. (more…)
Border Crossing Operates on Honor System, Border Patrol Hundreds of Miles Away
It’s another example of political correctness running amok. The Obama administration is set to reopen a crossing station at the Texas and Mexico border that was closed after the September 11 terrorist attack for security concerns, yet is newly constructed to be monitored by Border agents stationed hundreds of miles away. How our minds are conditioned and controlled: If a person believes a “fact” long enough, he or she cannot ponder or contemplate information or a question that challenges the fact. The mind simply cannot process information that conflicts with previously accepted data. Prior conditioning is difficult to challenge. (more…)

Obama’s Assault on Religious Freedom
In 2006 we elected to the U.S. Senate an Illinois State Senator who spent most of his 2 years in Washington running for President. Why should we be surprised this empty suit had no solutions to our problems? Americans wanted to feel tolerant, and free of racial prejudice, a poor reason to elect a President. The Democrats’ Foreign Policies Are a Disaster
It all started with Obama’s “apology tour” in the Middle East, and then his policy of appeasement toward Islam and Islamist radicals. Islamists do not respond well to appeasement, they see it as weakness and take full advantage of it to accelerate their jihad on the west. Appeasement only encourages and emboldens them to commit more attacks. Obama’s version of appeasement suggests that it is our fault that we are being attacked simply because of our American values which Obama intends to change, more to the likings of Islam. Remember, this is the person who, early in his administration, ordered the term War on Terror be excluded from all press releases, speeches and correspondence. (more…)
