Just how desperate is Tammy Duckworth to win the 8th District Congressional race? The disabled Army veteran appeared recently before the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) wearing a bijba (Mideast headscarf). Duckworth, seeking the group’s endorsement, condemned a statement Walsh made this summer on the dangers of radical Islam in the Chicago suburbs. Duckworth Represents Special Interests in Chicago Teachers Strike
Monday morning, the Chicago Teachers Union walked out in its first strike in 25 years over demands including a 20% pay increase over the next few years. The average Chicago teacher makes over $70,000 before benefits. That is around twice as much as the average Chicago worker and yet, they are demanding a 20% pay raise. Yet another reason why the stranglehold the Democratic Party has on Chicago and Illinois needs to be broken. (more…)

The Obama re-election machine operating from its Chicago stronghold must be feeling enormous pressure after losing the battle in the recall election of Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. Obama guru David Axelrod, Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (Obama’s former chief of staff) and Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin – Obama’s go-to guy, are the forces behind Duckworth’s candidacy and the Democratic Party’s multi-million dollar efforts to regain control of the U.S. House of Representatives. Illinois Has an Easy Choice to Make
Besides voting Barack Obama out of the White House, that is. Voters in the Land of Lincoln have a clear cut choice for Congress in the 8th District. You have a front man – in this case, a front woman – for the Chicago Democratic Machine, for Barack Obama, and for the international labor unions trying to bankrupt this nation. On the other side, you have a young, aggressive Tea Party-backed Republican who has been marked for political extinction by the socialist Left of America because, in his first two years in office, he delivered on his campaign promises.
