Durbin for illegal aliens

In 2010, the people of Arizona were fed up with the federal government’s lack of action in securing their southern border with Mexico so they passed SB 1070 giving state, county and local police the authority to take action on illegal immigration. At the time, it was the strictest immigration law in the nation. Of course, senate Democrats – at the behest of Barack Obama, and led by Democratic New York Senator Chuck Schumer and Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) violently opposed it. (more…)
