Good Judges Matter

Good Judges Matter

By Editor-in-Chief on November 3, 2012

She has to have a police escort just to enter the courthouse but when the dust settles on Election Day, she will likely hold onto her spot on the bench in the Cook County Circuit Court.Circuit Court Judge Cynthia Brim has been charged with a misdemeanor after allegedly throwing a set of keys and shoving a sheriff’s deputy. Following the incident, she was suspended indefinitely and according to a court-appointed psychiatrist, she can be mentally fit with medication but she was “legally insane” at the time of the incident. What Will the Future of Israel Look Like Under a Second Obama Term?

What Will the Future of Israel Look Like Under a Second Obama Term?

By Editor-in-Chief on October 24, 2012

In our September 13 issue, we asked “HAS OBAMA HAS THROWN ISRAEL ‘UNDER THE BUS”? Did the Obama Administration tell Israel “Good luck, Israel, you are on your own?” Various intelligence and media sources seem to believe so. And if that’s the case, why weren’t the American people told that this administration’s commitment to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Middle East dictators is more important than to one of our staunchest allies? ACORN, the DNC’s Behind The Scenes Ally Gets $445 million Grant from Administration

ACORN, the DNC’s Behind The Scenes Ally Gets $445 million Grant from Administration

By Editor-in-Chief on June 13, 2012

ACORN, the supposedly defunct organization defunded by Congress in the aftermath of James O’Keefe’s video exposing ACORN employees’ willingness to help out pimps and prostitutes attain government benefits is back. According to recent reports, Judicial Watch has uncovered the Obama administration offered $445 million to a former ACORN official as part of a $7.6 billion government program designed to help “unemployed or substantially underemployed” Americans make their mortgage payments. Least you forget, Obama the lawyer worked for ACRON before he ran for state Senate in Illinois and with whom he still has a close relationship. (more…)

Northern Neighbor Thinks Obama Was a Mistake

Northern Neighbor Thinks Obama Was a Mistake

By Editor-in-Chief on October 3, 2011

Canadian Commentator: “The Press Gave America ‘An Untried, Unknown,’ ‘Incompetent’ President.”  Maybe what America’s press really need is a Canadian television commentator to explain how atrocious their coverage of Barack Obama has been since the moment he tossed his named into the presidential ring in February 2007.

The GOP Can Take the Senate in 2012

The GOP Can Take the Senate in 2012

By Editor-in-Chief on September 15, 2011

The presidential race is heating up, but the 2012 Senate races could turn out to be just as important, with Democrats currently holding only a small majority of Senate seats. The Senate is currently composed of 51 Democrats (plus 2 Independents who caucus with Democrats) and 47 Republicans.

Legislative Redistricting Hearings Start this Week

By Editor-in-Chief on March 28, 2011

Now, maybe, Illinois voters will understand why Ice News repeatedly harped on the fact that the November midterm elections were important to the future of our state. Unfortunately, not enough of you grasped the importance of electing conservative Republicans to state office. We will now, and in the years ahead, pay the price for that lack of attention to political realities: “To the victor go the spoils.”

Like Spoiled Brats, Democrats Play Games with Kirk

Like Spoiled Brats, Democrats Play Games with Kirk

By Editor-in-Chief on November 18, 2010

Will the games never stop? Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Dick Durbin and company are behaving like a bunch of spoiled brats who took their bats and went home after hearing a call they didn’t like on November 2. In this case, home is Washington D.C., and the game is the nation’s business being conducted in the Lame Duck Congress.

Obama Not Giving Up on Rivals “Hit List”

Obama Not Giving Up on Rivals “Hit List”

By Editor-in-Chief on November 15, 2010

As reported in the last issue of Illinois Conservative Examiner, the Democratic National Committee formally asked the Pentagon for correspondence between military agencies and nine potential Republican presidential candidates, a clear indication that Democrats were building opposition-research files on specific 2012 contenders even before the midterm elections. The digging for dirt has not stopped.
