Winning the Senate Can Save America
If you want to stop the massive growth of our federal government and ensure America’s future, we must change the face of the United States Senate. Harry Reid and the Democrats control the Senate today and, unfortunately, we still have too many Republicans who lack the courage to fight for our nation’s founding principles. The GOP is An All-Inclusive Party and the Hierarchy Had Better Understand That
Conventions are NOT coronations. They are the meeting of a party’s faithful held every four years to nominate candidates for president and vice president and to generate excitement and support for the upcoming elections. Everyone should be asked to participate. The Republican convention must encourage everyone associated with the GOP to attend and voice their beliefs and complaints. Unlike the Democratic Party which, in the past, has denied a speaking role to Democrats who believed in such non-politically correct positions as opposing abortion, opposition to same sex marriage or gun control. The GOP is better than that, and, if we are to defeat Barack Obama, it must provide time for Tea Party and Libertarian supporters to speak. (more…)

More than a dozen candidates for state office gathered at the Park Ridge South Park Recreation Center Thursday, February 16, at a candidate forum hosted by the Republican Women of Park Ridge, Illinois and the Maine Township Republican Women’s Club. The crowd wasn’t disappointed.

The board of directors of Republican Women of Park Ridge voted Saturday to endorse Susan Sweeney for State Representative in District 55 and Dan Patlak for re-election as Commissioner of the County Board of Tax Review. Both candidates are members of the club.
