Dems Facing Tough Elections are Distancing Themselves From Holder
Democrats facing tough reelection races next year are ducking questions on whether they support beleaguered Attorney General Eric Holder. Republicans have been calling for Holder’s head amid the recent controversies, but conservative Democrats — by and large — would rather not talk about him. (more…)
Why the House Went After Holder and the DOJ
Last Thursday, the House voted to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress. We won’t hesitate to predict that it’s just a matter of time before Holder is no longer our Nation’s top law-enforcement officer. While the list of unConstitutional excesses by this Administration is longer than any one of us can imagine. Holder’s bungling mismanagement of the Fast and Furious crisis, followed by his outright defiance of Congress, is reason enough to color him gone. And good riddance. (more…)
Is Fast & Furious Another Watergate?
With a Democrat in the White House and his reelection on the line, this is the absolute worst time for a scandal like this to blow up: The story of Eric Holder and the contempt vote now being considered by the U.S. House of Representatives. So, if you want to see an entire newsroom freak out, say that Fast and Furious is worse than Watergate!
Worse than Watergate! Worse than Watergate! Worse than Watergate! (more…)
Eric Holder’s Twisted Views of America
Attorney General Eric Holder spoke to a gathering of black church leaders May 30 in Washington, D.C., where he told them that voting is a “sacred” right. Where’s the ACLU? Americans United for Separation of Church and State? Wasn’t the Attorney General trampling on the First Amendment by mixing religion and politics? Oh, Holder also wants one law for Whites and another for ‘Non-Whites.’ (more…)
Issa Ok With Contempt Order Against Holder, says ‘Furious’ Response ‘Cannot Stand’
Republican Rep. Darrell Issa (Calif.) has circulated a lengthy pair of documents making the case for holding Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress over his “refusal” to cooperate in an investigation of the ill-fated Fast and Furious operation. (more…)
Obama’s Henchmen are Getting Out of Hand
Exactly what are Barack Obama’s appointees thinking? And who do they think they’re working for? First it was Attorney General Eric Holder refusing to admit much less apologize for the Fast and Furious debacle in which a U.S. Border Patrol agent was murdered with a weapon Holder’s DOJ allowed to cross the border. Now, it’s acting National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Lafe Solomon joking (gleefully) that the NLRB’s suit against Boeing would kill jobs in South Carolina.
Walsh To Holder: Resign!
Operation Fast and Furious was an inherently idiotic idea that has resulted in the death of a Border Patrol Agent, as well as the deaths of many Mexican nationals. And even after federal officials became aware of these deaths, there were three egregious criminal actions taken. First, federal officials tried to cover up evidence at a murder scene. Second, the federal agent who blew the whistle on Operation Fast and Furious was fired for doing so. Finally, Attorney General Eric Holder lied to Congress under oath about his knowledge of Fast and Furious. (Above comments by ICE News editorial staff).
