Don’t Worry About Republican Prospects in November

By Editor-in-Chief on March 21, 2012

Republicans are nervous that the presidential primaries are still going on. They forget that Obama did not win enough delegates to nail down the nomination until June 3, 2008, after a 17-month-long campaign against Hillary Clinton. (more…)

Bachmann: Obama Acting Like U.S. Is a ‘Banana Republic’

By Editor-in-Chief on December 22, 2011

GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) accused President Obama of running the nation like a “banana republic.” During an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press on December 18, Bachmann said the administration had failed to cut spending and had put the nation in greater debt.  El  Supremo Obama?

Can Newt Gingrich Be the GOP’s Savior?

By Editor-in-Chief on November 10, 2011

Newt Gingrich seems to have resurrected his campaign with steady debate performances. He’s saved his attacks for the Obama administration and avoided bickering with Romney and Perry.

The GOP Can Take the Senate in 2012

By Editor-in-Chief on September 15, 2011

The presidential race is heating up, but the 2012 Senate races could turn out to be just as important, with Democrats currently holding only a small majority of Senate seats. The Senate is currently composed of 51 Democrats (plus 2 Independents who caucus with Democrats) and 47 Republicans.

Ten Reasons Why Even Liberals Should Root for the GOP

By Editor-in-Chief on August 22, 2011

Leftism (Obamaism) has failed utterly. It has failed everywhere and it has never done anything else but fail. From the murderous, leftist tyrannies of the Soviet Union andChinato the soft but nonetheless oppressive and stagnant socialism of a moribund Europe, the relativist, wealth-crushing, overweening state has revealed itself to be an engine of misery and collapse. The Democrats believe in it and the Republicans rally against it. Here are 10 reasons to vote GOP.

Why the Liberal-Left Slams Tea Partiers

Why the Liberal-Left Slams Tea Partiers

By Editor-in-Chief on August 1, 2011

What is it with the liberal-left in this country? Day-after-day, night-after-night they flood the airways and talk shows slamming the Tea Party, calling them crazies, racists bigots, Nazis, terrorists and poor uneducated GOP dupes who should be dismissed out-of-hand.  The Tea Party, they say, is dying and slowly becoming insignificant. Ice News says baloney. (more…)

GOP Pushing Stronger Voter I.D. Laws

GOP Pushing Stronger Voter I.D. Laws

By Editor-in-Chief on July 28, 2011

For any thinking resident ofIllinois, it would come as no surprise the GOP says voter fraud is real: In Illinois it has become an art form. From late arriving military ballots to overt persuasion on seniors at voting places by ward workers and committeemen, to counting votes cast by people who have been dead for years, Chicago, Cook County and the rest of the state can “proudly” claim to be infamous. And, there are many states like Illinois. (more…)

Senate Kills off Ethanol Tax Credits

Senate Kills off Ethanol Tax Credits

By Editor-in-Chief on June 20, 2011

The Senate voted 73-27 Thursday to kill a major tax break that benefits the ethanol industry, handing a political win to a bipartisan group of lawmakers that call the incentive needless and expensive. Does anyone even have to guess how liberal Illinois Senator and Majority Whip Dick Durbin voted? No, Nein, Nada. There has never been a tax increase or a subsidy to ensure political support that  Mr. Durbin didn’t support.

Another Way to Save Our Money: Cut Foreign Aid

Another Way to Save Our Money: Cut Foreign Aid

By Editor-in-Chief on April 18, 2011

As the Debit talks between the House Republicans and the administration and Senate Democrats continue, the House negotiators should put America’s foreign aid budget on the table. When Americans understand the extent to which we, as the nation are running the largest budget deficit in the world, are subsidizing almost every other nation on earth, they will finally start to get MAD. Mad enough, maybe, to go the polls in 2012 and vote the bums out.
