Should Non-Citizens Be Allowed To Sit On Juries?
Since the formation of our country there have been certain rights and privileges that have been reserved for citizens. Among those are the right to vote and the privilege to sit on a jury and judge your peers. The Democrat party led by Barack Obama is working behind the scenes to change that. (more…)
7,518 Illegal Immigrants from Terror States Caught Crossing Southern US Border in 2011
There are at least 7,518 reasons to get the U.S.-Mexican border under control. That equals the number of [illegal] aliens apprehended in fiscal year 2011 from the four nations that federal officials label “state sponsors of terrorism” plus 10 “countries of interest.” (more…)
Immigration Bill ‘Worse Than We Thought,’ Legalizes Relatives and Previously Deported
Once illegal immigrants are granted green cards, they will become eligible for generous welfare and entitlement programs. Because of how these benefits are structured, low-wage illegal immigrants who are legalized will ultimately receive trillions more in benefits than they contribute to these programs. (more…)
Sensible Immigration Laws
The costs of Illegal Immigrants to the U.S. taxpayer: $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year by state governments. $22 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens. Most nations have and enforce strict regulations when it comes to immigration. Under the Obama administration, ours are a joke. (more…)
Our Southern Border is An Open Door for Illegals, Terrorists
We have to believe that the Republicans involved in drafting the bipartisan framework for immigration reform took umbrage with Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano’s assertion on February 13 that the southern border is more secure than ever. What gobbledygook! (more…)
Illegal Immigrants and Social Security
Just as in November 2010, in November 2014 we have an opportunity to change the course of American history by electing conservative Republicans to the U.S. House of Representatives and to the U.S. Senate and relegate Harry Reid to a minority seat in the Senate. Nationwide numerous state seats will be up for contention. For a reason to do so, one had to look no further than at a report released two years ago by the Social Security Board of Trustees that says in 2013 the Social Security system will pay out more in benefits than it gathers in tax receipts this year for the first time since 1983. (more…)
Illinois: Driver’s Licenses to Illegal Aliens
The November 6 election solidified the Democrats’ control on the state of Illinois and they intend to keep it that way. What would you say if I told you that a state was gearing up to provide driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants? You would probably shake your head and wonder “What else will they do to get more votes for 2014?” (more…)
Illegals, In Just One State
Advocates for open borders and unlimited, unrestricted immigration have argued for years that that illegal aliens are peaceful, pose no danger to U.S. citizens and contribute a great deal to our economy. For many years, the public believed those claims. No more. And, as far as helping our economy is concerned, that too, is not true. The fact is that the overwhelming amount of the wages earned by aliens is not spent in this country, but simply sent back home. Why is this craziness allowed to continue? According to every Democrat who addresses the question: They (illegals) vote Democrat. (more…)
Why Do We Have Immigration Laws?
It’s really quite simple: they are designed to protect Americans and U.S. society from things that are seen at the time as dangerous or bad for us. While immigration to this country is, overall, a good thing, not all things about it are good. Immigration laws are designed to control those things that are not. (more…)
