State of the State – payment delays expected to persist in Illinois, says Illinois Comptroller Republican Judy Baar Topinka. Rep. Walsh to Senator Durbin: Get Serious
Editor’s Note: Dick “Tricky Dick” Durbin is one smart fella. What does any willy politician do when he is ducking for cover after it was announced that despite being the senior Senator from Illinois, Majority Whip in the U.S. Senate and chief water carrier and bottle washer for Barack Obama he can’t do anything about the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) decision NOT to provide assistance to downstate Illinois communities that were devastated by tornados in late February. Illinois Democrats Support Cuts To Medicaid While Endorsing Care For Illegals
Once again, political correctness reigns supreme in the state of Illinois. Governor Pat Quinn and the state Democratic Party met last week to discuss how to cut $2.7 million or 20 percent from the state’s Medicaid budget.
