Rep. Walsh to Senator Durbin: Get Serious

Rep. Walsh to Senator Durbin: Get Serious

By Editor-in-Chief on March 24, 2012

Editor’s Note: Dick “Tricky Dick” Durbin is one smart fella. What does any willy politician do when he is ducking for cover after it was announced that despite being the senior Senator from Illinois, Majority Whip in the U.S. Senate and chief water carrier and bottle washer for Barack Obama  he can’t do anything about the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) decision NOT to provide assistance to downstate Illinois communities that were devastated by tornados in late February.  Simple. He takes on a highly controversial and publicity-generating subject that will NOT offend anyone while hoping the public will forget about the slap in the face refusal from FEMA. (more…)

Jan Schakowsky Pours Gas on the Fire

Jan Schakowsky Pours Gas on the Fire

By Editor-in-Chief on March 10, 2012

It is frustrating for me to watch those of a different political persuasion take a valid issue and twist it into an argument that encourages hostility against anyone opposing their own views. I don’t believe in this type of tactic and I hope you don’t either. I am Tim Wolfe and I am running to unseat Janice Schakowsky as Congresswoman for the 9th District. (more…)
