The Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate refuses to put forward a budget for three years defying statues requiring it to do so on a yearly basis. This neologism, of course, springs from the Smoot-Hawley tariffs that are famously credited with killing the economic recovery after the stock market crash of 1929 and plunging the world into the last depression eighty years previously. You burn with wrath and hemorrhage with pain at the injustice of it all, because nothing is felt more keenly than injustice. It drives men and women to even the score, to make opportunity and then thrust the sword of their angst back into the foe, manifold, with hope of finding a golden pleasure that will soothe their raw soul.
