At the end of the last campaign, Pew found the public “overwhelmingly” — by a 70% to 9% margin — believed that most journalists wanted to see Barack Obama, not John McCain, emerge victorious on Election Day. When Barack Obama ran for the office of president in 2008, he promised to create a minimum of five million new green related jobs. Since occupying the Oval Office, he has pushed the Department of Energy to give grants and government guaranteed loans to numerous green technology firms. The loans and grants have been totaling into the billions of taxpayer dollars. Billions for green energy and the Democrats cut Medicare Advantage, kicked out hundreds of millions of dollars to friends and donors of/to Obama and the Democratic Party, and raised our taxes. In his 2010 State of the Union address, President Obama emphasized the need to “tell hard truths” when it comes to the nation’s affairs.
