The Left Targets TEA Party. Again
Diminutive left wing plutocrat, Robert Reich, Secretary of Labor under Bill Clinton, had the audacity to compare the TEA Party to a conspiracy “to undermine the government of the United States.” ICE News believes Democrats have something to be nervous about when people like Reich make such extreme comparisons: All they can do is pull the racist, homophobe, sexist, Nazi, and extremism cards from the bottom of the deck and try to play them as a legitimate hand. The TEA Party Is Alive – You Betcha’
The TEA Party movement was launched on February 19, 2009 when CNBC contributor Rick Santelli first suggested throwing a “Tea Party” to protest the unprecedented expansion of government by President Barack Obama and congressional liberals: a massive increase in spending that would create economy-crushing fiscal burdens for future generations of taxpayers. In their guts, most Americans understand that our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, as Jefferson put it, really are God-given – not a gift from government. (more…)
Democrats OWN Illinois Financial Woes
Now that the new Illinois General Assembly has been sworn in, every resident in Illinois needs to be fully aware that ‘elections have consequences’. The Democratic Party, now a super-majority in Illinois, Governor Pat Quinn, Speaker Mike Madigan, John Cullerton, and Rahm Emanuel OWN Illinois financial woes. The new gerrymandered, Democratic drawn map in Illinois ensured that Congressional Republicans of 2010 were forced to run against each other in the Primary, and ‘handpicked’ Democratic candidates ran against the Republican ‘winner’ in the general election with President Obama at the top of the ticket. What Barack Obama and his minions cannot grasp is the American people aren’t sheep. We don’t want government intrusion into every aspect of our lives. The Bill of Rights – those first ten amendments to our Constitution – still mean something to most of us, no matter how much they have dumbed down public education. Our strength is in numbers. A Conservative with Guts: Allen West Refuses to Concede
Election officials in Florida are recounting some early votes cast in the hotly contested race for the state’s 18th district’s House seat between Tea Party favorite Rep. Allen West and Democratic challenger Patrick Murphy. Like Cong. Joe Walsh in Illinois, West, a highly decorated Army officer, was targeted for defeat by the Left.
