Remember the Jobs Obama Promised Us? They’re Going to Brazil

Remember the Jobs Obama Promised Us? They’re Going to Brazil

By Editor-in-Chief on February 16, 2012

A large part of President Obama’s State of the Union address had to do with jobs and the economy for working class Americans.  He paraded figures that were supposed to indicate a recovering jobs market when in fact the figures he used did not reflect the millions of jobs that have been lost under his administration. Has Barack Obama been lying to us? What do you think?

Why It’s So Tough to Create Jobs

By Editor-in-Chief on January 26, 2012

As the media have amply reported, there is a broad consensus that the current job environment in the U.S. economy is the worst since the 1930s. Let’s explore the state of the job market now and one of the most unique features, the lack of job creation on a scale sufficient to reduce unemployment.

More Bad News for BO – Your Recovery is Worse Than Bush’s Recession

More Bad News for BO – Your Recovery is Worse Than Bush’s Recession

By Editor-in-Chief on January 19, 2012

New evidence suggests there’s a reason why this economic “recovery” hasn’t felt much like a recovery. Figures from the Census Bureau’s Current Population Survey, compiled by Sentier Research, show that the “recovery” has actually been harder on most Americans than the recession from which they’ have allegedly been recovering.

Obama, Dems Don’t Want US to Be Energy Independent

Obama, Dems Don’t Want US to Be Energy Independent

By Editor-in-Chief on January 12, 2012

Not many people noticed during the run up to the Iowa caucuses and last year’s payroll tax fight that a far more important, and potentially game-changing resolution passed the Senate at the end of 2011. It was the authorization for the $3 billion Keystone XL pipeline connecting us to Canada’s booming oil shale production. The Senate has given Barack Obama sixty days to either sign or not sign as “not in the national interest.”

What Makes the Tea Party an Important Vehicle for Government Reform? Public Participation

By Editor-in-Chief on January 9, 2012

Rockford resident Michael Kleen is a local author, proprietor of  Black Oak Media and candidate for the Winnebago County Board District 8 seat. Mr. Kleen makes a valid argument for finding alternative means for finding tax revenues other than increasing the tax burden on Illinois residents. We wish him well in his campaign for county board.

By Editor-in-Chief on January 9, 2012

Here’s a quick look into the three former Fannie Mae executives who brought down Wall Street (Remember the housing bubble, and the recession?). Ice News hasn’t and we will keep reminding our readers how Democratic cronyism and corruption has almost bankrupted the United States of America.

Attacking Obama is a Losing Proposition? Baloney!

Attacking Obama is a Losing Proposition? Baloney!

By Editor-in-Chief on January 5, 2012

The conventional wisdom that permeates within the Republican establishment is that 40 percent of the electorate will vote Republican, 40 percent will vote for the Democrats and 20 percent will vote Moderate or Independent. The GOP elites also fear and distrust the Conservative movement. Mostly, it appears they fear the 20 percent will not vote its way because Conservatives confront and oppose Barack Obama and what he stands for, thereby earning the rancor of the Moderates. This kind of thinking will lead to disaster for the GOP in November.

The Silent Generation could Spell The End Of Obama

The Silent Generation could Spell The End Of Obama

By Editor-in-Chief on December 19, 2011

Grandma and grandpa are not happy! They are sick of the mess the Occupy Wall Street-type brats have made of our country.  This is the conclusion to be drawn from a new Pew Research poll of Americans 66-to-83 years of age on our current political situation. And they will make up 17 percent of the electorate next year

About Time, Voters Blaming Obama for Failing Economy, Not Bush

About Time, Voters Blaming Obama for Failing Economy, Not Bush

By Editor-in-Chief on December 19, 2011

For years, Barack Obama has diverted attention from his own economic failures by blaming his predecessor, George W. Bush, for the nation’s financial woes, from deficits to debt to taxes to Medicare and Medicaid spending. But that strategy has reached the end of its effectiveness, according to a new poll that reveals more people blame Obama for the failed state of the economy now than blame Bush. This could really be the end of America’s guilt trip with Barack Obama!
