Duckworth Represents Special Interests in Chicago Teachers Strike
Monday morning, the Chicago Teachers Union walked out in its first strike in 25 years over demands including a 20% pay increase over the next few years. The average Chicago teacher makes over $70,000 before benefits. That is around twice as much as the average Chicago worker and yet, they are demanding a 20% pay raise. Yet another reason why the stranglehold the Democratic Party has on Chicago and Illinois needs to be broken. (more…)
Busy Republican Weekend in Illinois
Congressman Joe Walsh will participate in the second organized debate of the general election for the 8th congressional district campaign. The debate, hosted by Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle, will take place Sunday, July 29 at 1:00 pm. Walsh’s opponent, Tammy Duckworth, has declined to attend. Conservative Tim Wolfe announced his July-August appearances for his campaign against Democrat Jan Schakowsky, an avid Obama supporter. More details are below.

So, let’s all call her and ask her to attend the debate on Sunday!
Be polite, be respectful, but let Tammy or her staff know in no uncertain terms that if she wants to represent, “We the People of the 8th District”, she needs to let, “We the People” know what her views are.
What are Tammy’s ideas to make America a better place to live and raise our children? Is Tammy Duckworth a viable candidate or not?
We know where Joe Walsh stands on the issues, he has an 18 1/2 month long record voting in Congress. We would like to know where Tammy Duckworth stands and what are her ideas.

Joe Walsh’s “Luxurious” Motorhome
I attended a dinner over the weekend and the main topics on the agenda were the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls and, according to two liberal Democrats, Illinois Republican Congressman Joe Walsh’s new palatial motorhome. I immediately envisioned a monstrous, fancy-swanky $200,000 rolling palace some rich Republican supporter has lent to Walsh for his campaign against Chicago Machine candidate Tammy Duckworth. The thought bothered me enough – Walsh has criticized Barack Obama for his extravagant and lavish lifestyle since entering the Oval Office – that I e-mailed the congressman’s Washington office Easter Sunday for more information. Illinois Has an Easy Choice to Make
Besides voting Barack Obama out of the White House, that is. Voters in the Land of Lincoln have a clear cut choice for Congress in the 8th District. You have a front man – in this case, a front woman – for the Chicago Democratic Machine, for Barack Obama, and for the international labor unions trying to bankrupt this nation. On the other side, you have a young, aggressive Tea Party-backed Republican who has been marked for political extinction by the socialist Left of America because, in his first two years in office, he delivered on his campaign promises.
